RAILWAY SOLUTIONS – TRACK STABILISATION WITH GEOMAXX®
Track stabilisation is one of the key challenges in the construction and modernisation of railway infrastructure. Thanks to its characteristic honeycomb design, Geomaxx® allows embankments to be constructed on low bearing capacity soils without the need for heavy equipment. It is an efficient technology that facilitates the construction process and increases the durability and reliability of rail infrastructure.
We mainly manufacture interior components for trains, buses and trams. In addition to shelves and wall linings, we most often produce seat components, such as backrests, armrests and tables. The plastics used to manufacture these components are characterised by high durability and resistance to damage.

GEOMAXX® – EFFECTIVE RAILWAY TRACK PROTECTION
Geomaxx® is a proprietary geocell system developed by Geo Globe Poland. It consists of textured strips that, when welded, form a grid of cells of a specific size and height. The Geomaxx® system is distinguished by its exceptional durability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions, thanks to the use of UV-stabilised high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The simplicity and efficiency of the solution comes from the ability to use lower quality aggregates as backfill material, reducing construction costs and eliminating the need for expensive techniques. Geomaxx® is a versatile tool used in track stabilisation, track reinforcement, rail roads and the protection of railway tracks and roads. The system is widely used in railway construction and other sectors requiring soil stabilisation.

The geocell system is a proven solution that has been used in railway applications around the world for more than 40 years. The technology has been used since 1984 in countries such as the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, South Africa and Spain. Many years of research and practical implementations, especially in the USA and Japan, have confirmed the effectiveness of geocells in stabilising tracks and reinforcing rail roads, especially at high axle loads and high speeds.
