Components

Geomaxx geocells offer a range of types of flexible protection for open watercourses and water structures. The system provides stability and protection for channels exposed to erosive forces by giving a deformed cover with well-defined roughness and stability. It creates single and multilayer casing systems to suit a range of structural and hydraulic requirements.

Flexibility of the material

Soil backfill with grass growth is ideal in terrain with sporadic flow, muddy valleys and on mountainous channel slopes. Concrete is recommended for areas with continuous water flow or high flow velocity. A cast concrete system is flexible in contrast to a backfilling with aggregate – which is semi-rigid.
