GEOCELLS
GEOMAXX GEOCELLS
Geomaxx cellular geogrid is a system of textured strips welded in such a way that they form a grid of cells of a specific size and height. Our geocells are made of high-density polyethylene HDPE, stabilized against UV radiation. The simplicity of the solution, and at the same time its effectiveness of the system, results from the possibility of using low-quality aggregates as a backfill material. It enables the cost reduction or eliminating the necessity to use other solutions that increase the cost of an investment.
FILLING AGGREGATES
Aggregate enclosed in individual cells of the geocells and compacted to the appropriate compaction indexes, contributes to a dozen-fold increase in the load-bearing capacity of the substrate. Thanks to the possibility of using local backfill materials and thanks to the reduction of structural elements by 50% and more, compared to traditional methods of load bearing, we significantly reduce investment costs. The Geomaxx geocells are available in perforated and non-perforated versions and in the following heights: 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 mm.
INEXPENSIVE AND EFFECTIVE
The simplicity of the solution, and at the same time its effectiveness of the system, results from the possibility of using low-quality aggregates as a backfill material. Aggregate enclosed in individual cells of the geocells and compacted to the appropriate compaction indexes, contributes to a dozen-fold increase in the load-bearing capacity of the substrate. It eliminates the necessity of using complicated tools and methods that would increase a total cost of the job.
IMPLEMENTATION
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GEOCELLS
Geocells are used to strengthen many diverse structures that require stable ground and safety for many years.

Three-dimensional structure
Each section of the cellular geonet offered by GGP, is manufactured from textured UV-resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) strips on both sides, joined by ultrasonic welding in a manner that creates a honeycomb-like structure when unfolded.
Operating principle
The use of cellular geonets significantly improves the properties of encapsulated backfill due to the phenomenon of formation of so-called apparent cohesion. In case of loading, the three-dimensional structure of the system distributes shear stresses favorably and prevents lateral displacement in the fill due to the peripheral strength of the cells, the passive resistance of adjacent cells and from the generated friction between the cell walls and the backfill, resulting from the special texture of the strip. In varieties made of textured and perforated strips, holes in the cell walls increase friction in the case of coarse aggregates filling the sections, allowing lateral drainage and improving the properties of the system in the case of water-saturated soils.
APPLICATIONS
The geogrid or cellular geo-grid, when filled with backfill, forms a rigid, high-strength substructure, acting as a semi-rigid plate that distributes vertical loads into lateral stresses and reduces contact pressures in the soil substrate, preventing lateral displacement, reducing vertical deflections, and limiting settlement even on soft soils.
Structures based on our geonet can be found all over the world, testifying to the high effectiveness of our product and its adaptability to the most difficult local conditions.

- EFFECTIVE PROTECTION OF SLOPES AGAINST EROSION
The use of geogrids or cellular geonets reinforces and stabilizes the cultivated layer overgrown with vegetation or aggregate fill, slipping material caused by gravitational and hydrodynamic forces.
On steep slope and trough surfaces and in cases where anchoring with system bars is not possible, additional stability is provided by high-strength polymer tension.

- RAILWAY
Unstable railroad embankments and subgrades cause significant problems and difficulties in maintaining rail traffic. This usually leads to reduced traffic speeds and, in extreme situations, to the closure of dangerous sections of track.
All the above phenomena consequently lead to significant economic losses. The solution to these problems are structures that reduce vertical and lateral stresses in the subgrade, as well as strengthen and stabilize the subgrade based on Geo Globe Poland's manufactured cellular geonets
In case of difficult site conditions, the system may additionally include other geosynthetics , such as geotextiles and flat nets
This technology makes it possible to build on compressible soils, providing full stability and resistance to static, dynamic and hydrodynamic loads. The use of cellular geonets allows effective anti-erosion protection of steep slopes, creating stable surfaces covered with vegetation. Compared to traditional solutions, the use of cellular geonets allows for a significant reduction in time and cost, which is of considerable importance in the case of emergency repairs. In addition, this solution allows to maintain the strength parameters of the track for a much longer period of time, which significantly o reduces operating costs.
